Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of patient care practices. As the Clinical Lead Nurse, you will oversee nursing staff, ensure high standards of patient care, and facilitate effective communication within the clinical team. Your expertise in anatomy and patient care will be essential in guiding nursing practices and improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the nursing team to ensure quality patient care is delivered consistently. Develop and implement clinical protocols and procedures to enhance patient safety and care efficiency. Conduct regular assessments of patients' conditions, documenting changes and communicating effectively with the healthcare team. Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering professional development and adherence to best practices. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Monitor compliance with health regulations and organisational policies, ensuring all practices meet required standards. Engage with patients and their families, providing education on health management and treatment options.

Experience

A valid nursing qualification with relevant registration (e.g., NMC). Proven experience in a clinical leadership role within a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, alongside practical experience in patient care. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Demonstrated ability to lead a team, manage conflicts, and promote a positive working environment. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is desirable but not essential.
