Position Details
Hours:
Full-Time, 36 hours per week
Clinical Hours (24 hours):
Monday: 08:00 - 14:00
Wednesday: 08:00 - 14:00
Supernumerary Hours (12 hours):
To be scheduled across remaining days

Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the clinical team to deliver safe, high-quality care
Ensure compliance with CQC standards and internal policies
Oversee medication management, clinical audits, and care plans
Provide effective leadership, supervision, and mentoring for nursing and care staff
Work closely with the Home Manager to maintain clinical governance
Assess residents' needs and ensure personalised care plans are followed
Support with staff training, performance reviews, and rota coordination
Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
Requirements
Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN
Minimum
5 years' clinical experience in a nursing home
Previous
managerial or senior nurse experience
is essential
Strong understanding of CQC compliance
Excellent communication, decision-making, and leadership skills
