We are recruiting for a Clinical Lead, an enthusiastic and highly skilled nurse with expertise in eating disorders who is both a strong clinician and leader, Director of Clinical Services/Matron/Team Lead/Clinical Lead to join an inpatient hospital team for adults with eating disorders in High Wycombe.
This is a fantastic role for an aspiring nurse leader looking to remain in a clinically focussed role whilst developing your skills in operational leadership, quality and strategy
This is a 14 bedded, specialist eating disorder service for mixed gender adults. The Hospital located just outside in an outer suburb of High Wycombe, within easy access of the M40, M25, Central London, and the nearby towns.
This role is close to Matron / Team Lead / Clinical Lead within the NHS
Key Responsibilities - Leadership:
The Clinical Lead plays a key part in developing and delivering the hospital strategy, providing operational and clinical leadership to the team.
Deputises for Hospital Director in their absence.
Overall responsibility for all clinical departments' performance and governance.
Acts as a highly visible role model, mentor and leader, creating a culture that promotes learning, development, inquiry and professionalism, celebrates achievements and shares learning to the benefit of the ward, hospital and wider division.Manages the delivery of the clinical services business plan ensuring the effective and efficient management and control of staffing, budgets, materials and equipment.
Promotes an effective working relationship across the multidisciplinary teams.
To ensure relevant staff work within the standards and frameworks of professional codes of conduct and to take remedial action as appropriate
As part of the Senior Management team will carry out on-call duties as directed by the Hospital Director.
Ensure site objectives are being met and encouraging a high quality of service
Knowledge / Education / Skills
Professional NMC registration.
Mental Health (RMN) or Learning Disability (RNLD) qualified
Strong clinical experience in Eating Disorders and evidence of continuing professional development.
A detailed understanding of statutory regulations is essential.
Passionate about providing high quality care and continuous improvement.
Experience devising and undertaking quality improvement projects and evidence based evidence.
Demonstrated leadership and decision making skills essential.
Forward thinking, proactive and creative
The ability to deal with multiple issues simultaneously in a highly dynamic environment.
High levels of integrity and boundaries.
Must currently hold a full clean driving licence and have been qualified for 3 years.
