Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and mentor the nursing and care team to ensure the highest standards of clinical practice.
Act as the senior nurse on duty, overseeing care delivery and managing staff allocations.
Support with recruitment, training, and development of care and nursing staff.
Conduct clinical audits, risk assessments, and implement care quality improvements.
Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
Administer medication, maintain accurate records, and ensure care plans are up to date.
Requirements
NMC Registered Nurse (RGN).
Proven leadership experience in a nursing home or similar healthcare environment.
Strong clinical knowledge and ability to lead by example.
Excellent communication, management, and organisational skills.
Compassionate and dedicated to delivering person-centred care.
