Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and compassionate

Clinical Lead (Registered Nurse)

to provide professional leadership and ensure the highest standards of clinical care within our service.

As Clinical Lead, you will oversee and coordinate clinical practice, support the nursing and specialist care teams, and play a key role in maintaining compliance, governance, and exceptional care outcomes. You'll work closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure our residents receive safe, person-centred, and effective care every day.

This role is ideal for a nurse looking to take the next step in leadership while maintaining hands-on involvement in clinical excellence and staff development.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strong clinical leadership and act as a role model for nursing and care teams. Ensure all clinical practices align with NMC standards, CQC requirements, and company policies. Support staff training, supervision, and personal development. Lead clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to maintain outstanding care standards. Manage and oversee medication processes in line with professional and regulatory guidelines. Conduct assessments and care planning, ensuring risks are identified and managed effectively. Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, residents, and families to ensure the best possible outcomes. Participate in on-call duties and provide emergency leadership when required. Promote a positive, open, and supportive working environment.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (NMC-registered). Proven experience in a senior or leadership nursing role. Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality standards, and CQC compliance. Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills. A commitment to person-centred care and professional development.
