We have an exciting opportunity for a Prosthetic Clinical Lead to join our team at Opcare, Roehampton.
This is a fantastic role for someone who is passionate about clinical excellence, service development, and leadership. The successful candidate will play a key part in driving forward high standards of care, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to the strategic direction of the service. The current service is fully staffed with a clinical team of varying levels of experience. It is also performing well to contractual KPI's and this role will help further enhance that performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out the line management responsibilities of the clinical team. This includes appraisals, coaching and development requirements, and performance management processes, working closely together with the Centre Manager (CM).
Alongside the CM ensure that the budget and KPI's for the clinical service is tracked, managed and achieved.
Supports and motivates the clinical team, ensuring resources are fully utilised to achieve patient / customer / organisational requirements. This includes the monitoring of the workload of clinical staff and annual leave cover.
Supports service design and innovation
Promoting quality and evidence-based practice
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
Proven practical experience working successfully at a senior level as a Prosthetist
Committed to the highest standards of patient care and practice in line with the role holders state registration e.g. HCPC.
Proven experience of motivating and working within high performing teams.
Positive and proactive 'can-do' attitude.
Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships internally and externally
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
