Job Description

Our client is seeking a Clinical Lead to oversee clinical operations within their care home, ensuring the highest standards of care for residents. This role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a compassionate approach tailored to the needs of the resident population. The Clinical Lead will work closely with the Home Manager and multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead and support nursing and care teams, ensuring compliance with clinical standards. Oversee clinical audits and implement quality improvements. Develop and review personalised care plans and manage medication safety. Respond to clinical emergencies and coordinate resident admissions and discharges. Mentor staff, conduct appraisals, and promote professional development. Advocate for residents' wellbeing, maintaining clear communication with residents and families. Collaborate with internal teams, external healthcare professionals, and educational partners. Participate in clinical governance and strategic planning meetings. Undertake specialist training or join the on-call rota as required.

Key Requirements:



Registered Nurse with current NMC registration. Proven leadership experience in a clinical care setting. Strong knowledge of clinical governance, legislation, and best practices. Experience in managing medication administration and audits. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to mentor and develop clinical teams. Compassionate approach with a commitment to person-centred care. Willingness to participate in specialist training and on-call duties.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 48,000.00 per year
