The Club Manager is responsible for the sale of new memberships, generation of prospective members and marketing the gym to the local community as well as being responsible for the most important task of ensuring we have a first-class facility our members love to train in. We're looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping others improve their lives through health and fitness. We are looking for a naturally proactive individual who can generate leads and convert them into sales and meet retention targets by ensuring our members continue training with us. What we are looking for:
You will have excellent management and interpersonal skills, as well as a proven track record in managing a team of sales staff. You will enjoy working within a structured and successful sales process working to agreed KPIs. You must have the ability to promote and drive Anytime Fitness culture within and outside of the club
You need to have an outgoing personality and be extremely confident in face-to-face meetings. You will be responsible for converting new leads into appointments and then closing the sale.
You will have experience of working in a customer-facing, target driven environment, and have a proven track record of achieving results. Sales experience is must and you must have a can-do attitude, a desire to succeed, and an ability to lead and influence others.
A typical day can be varied - from promoting the club face to face and over the phone; to attending local events and talking to corporate clients.
You will be managed against your own and the Club KPIs, and will be involved at a senior level in establishing your club as the No1 Health Club in your local area.
This is a full-time, permanent position. Exact working hours will be determined, but will involve a minimum of 40 hours per week. You will need a willingness to work evenings, week-ends and public holidays as required.
