Barnet FC and London Bees FC are in an exciting period of growth, and we are looking for an experienced Club Secretary to deliver on football administration across the Group and ensure regulatory compliance with the football authorities. The role also requires General Manager duties for the women's team - London Bees FC.
As Club Secretary supporting the football teams and being a part of the legal and administrative department, you will be responsible for:
Undertaking all Club Secretarial duties the men's and women's First Teams and youth teams.
Preparing and completing all contracts, registration, loan agreements and transfer documents for all players in accordance with all regulatory guidelines.
Maintaining full player records i.e. contracts, contact information, etc.
Ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations of the various football authorities.
Coordination and maintenance of the Club's FA Member Services system in respect of player disciplinary matters and records, i.e. suspensions, cautions, fines etc, including, where necessary, any appeals to The Football Association.
Managing the scheduling of all first team competitive and non-competitive fixtures.
Completion of all FA and English Football League post-match documentation i.e. PGMOL match reports and team sheets.
Attending all First Team matches (Home and Away).
Liaison with Away clubs for Home and Away fixtures and fixture confirmation.
Liaison with all football authorities, including The Football Association, English Football League, National League, PGMOL, and PFA on various aspects of football administration and attending meetings as and when required.
Supporting the Head Coach and backroom staff with administration and operational duties
Assisting with the management of first team payroll, including bonuses and recording of contract changes and milestones achieved.
In addition, as General Manager for London Bees FC, you will be responsible for:
Co-ordination of Team travel and pre / post-match refreshments.
Liaising with site staff and the backroom staff to ensure off-pitch training requirements are properly met and correctly facilitated according to the site's processes and procedures.
Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to grow revenues through sponsorship, ticketing, and events.
Develop and manage football and operational budgets in line with club objectives.
Manage matchday operations, ensuring high-quality fan experience and operational efficiency.
Oversee key departments such as stadium operations, ticketing, hospitality, and community engagement.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and safeguarding requirements.

Experience, Skills and Attributes
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Previous experience within a league or football club
Experience of football or other sports administration
Knowledge of domestic football regulations
Knowledge of FA, League and Club rules and regulations
Experience of working with football regulations.
Experience working within administration / operations
Experience with IT and a range of software, including but not limited to, all Microsoft Office programmes and email
Exceptional organisation and planning skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
High level of attention to detail, effective communication and organisational skills
Good time management and organisational skills
A 'can do' attitude/mindset and flexibility to work additional hours if required
Team player and a hardworking and enthusiastic individual
Displays a high level of confidentiality
Trustworthy and adherence to codes of conduct and ethics.
A full, valid UK driving licence
You will often manage workloads for a number of sub-companies based at The Hive London, so strong time management skills and a positive attitude will be essential.
