Job Description

The Rainbow Care Group is a pioneering company who provide specialist day services throughout the community. We are looking for a dementia support workersto assist in the delivery of our day club groups for clients with dementia, through personalised and meaningful activities.

MUST BE AVAILABLE MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY

LOOKING TO START JUNE

We are looking for a casual who has great flexibility to cover shifts. You would be offered a variety of hours depending on needs of the business so we are looking for someone who is happy with 0-18 hours approximately. We currently run day clubs Mon, Wed & Thurs with additional club locations opening in the future.



Do you have a healthcare background or transferrable skills & willingness to work with vulnerable adults living with Dementia?

Full specialist dementia training will be provided Experience in a care background essential but your biggest asset will be your values. Paid training Sick pay & Holiday pay, where applicable Pension options available Onsite parking Join a friendly, small team

Ideal:



Driver's Licence & Own Vehicle Flexible with availability (Mon to Fri work only) Current Enhanced DBS
Weekday work, approx hours - 9:45am-4:15pm. Casual/Variable hours to cover any shifts, including holiday & sick cover so you will need to be available to come in at short notice.

Oldland Common/Bristol location on Monday & Thursday.

Batheaston Day Clubs

on Wednesdays

Duties include but are not limited to:



Participating, co-planning, delivering & assisting in the running of the day club activities Ensuring the health and safety of vulnerable clients and colleagues, including personal care Setting up and packing away day club activities, tables & resources at the start & conclusion of shifts Assist in food preparation, refreshments and service clean up Read care plans, individual reports & maintain appropriate record keeping
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.25 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
