Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator/ programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts and components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the fabrication process. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

Operate CNC milling / turning machines and other related equipment to fabricate parts according to specifications. Interpret technical drawings and CAD files using SolidWorks and other design software. Set up tooling and fixtures for production runs, ensuring all materials are handled safely and effectively. Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Perform routine start up checks on machinery and report any issues to the supervisor. Assemble components as required, utilising hand tools and basic maths skills for accurate measurements. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills

Proficiency in operating milling / turning machines with a strong understanding of CNC programming. Familiarity with tooling setups and the ability to manufacture parts from raw materials. Competence in using Fanuc controls, and hand tools effectively. Strong basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Experience of conventional machining
