Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a CNC operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and ideally with previous CNC operating experience. While this experience is preferrable, full training will be provided and we encourage applications from those with transferable skills and willingness to learn. This role involves operating a CNC, loading required jobs efficiently and according to specifications. No drawing package or CAD experience is necessary. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in delivering our ongoing projects and contributing to the overall success of our operation. Optional overtime is frequently available with enhanced rates of pay depending on business demand.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines to produce parts to job specification, using programs provided by the factory manager and project managers. Load and manage multiple CNC programs to generate required job machining efficiently. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment. Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and job specification. Maintain accurate production records and report any issues to supervisors. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area.

Experience

Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment (desired but not necessary). Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic math and computer skills. Good problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.
