We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our clients dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and a solid understanding of fabrication processes. This role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC machines to manufacture precision parts according to specifications
Program and set up CNC machines using CAD/CAM software, including SolidWorks
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise
Conduct quality inspections of finished products using measuring tools
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and production targets are met
Handle materials safely and efficiently during the production process
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
Skills
Proficient in fabrication techniques and processes
Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
Strong knowledge of SolidWorks and CAD software for design purposes
Familiarity with milling operations and tooling requirements
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively
Competence in materials handling techniques
Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
Previous warehouse experience is advantageous
Skills in assembly processes and welding techniques are desirable
