Overview

We are seeking a skilled Amada punch CNC Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate CNC machinery effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring the precision and quality of our fabricated components. The CNC Operator will work closely with other members of the team to meet production goals while adhering to safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will also be expected to use machinery to clean up panels that have been produced and also roll the flat using th cnc rolls. They will also be expected to help keep the worksop tidy.

Responsibilities

Operate AMADA CNC Punch machines, Set up tooling and fixtures for machining processes. Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication. Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Perform quality checks on finished products using measuring tools and gauges. Handle materials safely, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the workshop. Troubleshoot issues with machinery or production processes, employing logical problem-solving skills. Use grinding and sheet metal cleaning equipment Keep work spaces clean and tidy

Experience

Proven experience as a AMADA CNC punch Operator. Read and interpret technical drawings. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery. Basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations. Experience in tooling setup and materials handling. A commitment to maintaining high safety standards within the workplace.
