The Role
We're seeking an experienced
CNC Wood Machinist
to join our friendly and skilled team in Batley.
You'll be responsible for setting up and operating woodworking machinery including CNC routers, wall saws, and edge banders. Experience with
VCarve programming/post-processing software
and
spraying
would be a distinct advantage.
This is a permanent position offering variety, stability, and the opportunity to grow with an established, forward-thinking company. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC woodworking machinery
Read and interpret technical drawings and production schedules
Carry out basic CNC programming VCarve and machine maintenance
Work accurately and efficiently to meet production deadlines
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
About You
Previous experience in a woodworking or joinery manufacturing environment
Skilled in operating CNC and other modern woodworking machinery
Confident with CNC programming and computer-based controls
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, proactive, and flexible
