Coding Teacher - Summer Holiday Role

Superstars is looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual to run coding camps for children over the summer holidays. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with a passion for coding, who is looking to gain hands-on experience in teaching children (aged 7+) and working in a fun, engaging environment.

Job Type:

Wage: 110 per day.

DBS Enhanced, updated of 3 years is required.

If you do not have a valid DBS certificate, one can be arranged for you but please note a fee of 50 will be deducted from your wages, after 10 days of working for Superstars, we will refund you the payment.

A driver's license is advantageous but not a requirement as long as you are able to flexibly travel.

All materials required to run the coding camps will be provided for you.

Job Role:

Teach children the basic of coding and oversee them experimenting with new concepts of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics.

Teach using the coding software provided for you.

Focus the children's sessions on:

o Coding using block and python.

o Robotics.

o Artificial Intelligence.

o Self-driving technology.

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure all children have a fun, engaging and creative session.

Have the ability to adapt sessions to varying age groups and skill levels.

Able to effectively communicate with children and assist with any challenges they may have in their work.

Have a basic understanding of child safeguarding and be able to appropriately supervise coding sessions, ensuring all health and safety measure are consistently met.

Job Requirements:

? Comfortable and competent working with children aged 7+.
? Prior experience working with children is beneficial but not a requirement.
? Enthusiastic, patient, and willing to engage in hands-on activities.
? Ability to explain coding techniques clearly and effectively.

Scheduled Shifts:

21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, and 25th July, 2025.

Please note shifts will be from 07:45am-16:30pm, occasionally you may be required to stay till 18:00pm for late pick-ups. You will receive an additional 17 for late pick up shifts.
