Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Coffee Shop Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our coffee shop. The candidate would be an all round person who is able to multi skill in all areas of the coffee shop. The coffee shop includes an operational kitchen with a full brunch menu.

Our ideal staff member is active, positive and passionate about our lovely coffee shop space. We believe this will come from a strong background in hospitality and food service, coupled with excellent leadership skills. As the Coffee Shop Manager, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for customers while overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. You must be adaptable to the food and kitchen preparation and service of a full brunch menu

Responsibilities

Be able to open and close the shop and complete all duties to a high standard Supervise daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction. Manage and train staff, fostering a positive team environment and promoting effective teamwork. Oversee food preparation and production processes to ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure availability of products. Implement marketing strategies to promote the coffee shop and attract new customers. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, adhering to health and safety standards. Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance for management review. Contribute to seasonal menu development and aligning with drinks specials Excellent understanding of our bakes and products and work with the team to organise, rotate and keep required stock levels Professionally display bakes and cakes and update any changes as required

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or food service industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Experience in culinary or bartending roles is advantageous but not essential. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for coffee culture and commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences.

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour
