Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Coffee Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our coffee shop. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate must be able to manage a team of employees and maintain a high level of cleanliness and organisation throughout the coffee shop.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the coffee shop, including opening and closing procedures Manage a team of employees (Baristas, kitchen staff and helpers) including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management, fostering a positive work environment. Develop and implement training programmes for staff on coffee preparation, customer service, and food safety practices Ensure that customer service is a top priority and that customers' needs are always met Maintain a clean and organised coffee shop in accordance with health and safety regulations Manage inventory and order supplies as needed Create and maintain a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere in the coffee shop Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones Monitor budgets to ensure that the coffee shop remains profitable. Actively find ways to lower operational costs while expanding the coffee shop customer base Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience managing a coffee shop or similar establishment is essential Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Excellent customer service and communication skills Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen operations Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Passion for coffee and the coffee shop industry Exceptional Barista skills & knowledge of all things Coffee. Proven experience in team management within a hospitality or food service environment is essential. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
