Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Coffee Shop Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations at Ori Caffe Within the John Lewis Store High Wycombe. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a background in food and beverage service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and fostering a welcoming environment for all patrons. Responsibilities

Supervise daily shop operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service Lead and motivate team members, including baristas and support staff Oversee food preparation and ensure high-quality standards are maintained Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control stock rotation Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any issues promptly Organise staff schedules and oversee training programmes for new team members Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the premises in accordance with hygiene standards Handle administrative tasks such as cash management, sales reporting, and stock control Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a hospitality or restaurant setting Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices Experience in team management and leadership roles within a cafe or restaurant environment Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations Prior barista experience is highly desirable Background in hospitality management or hotel experience is advantageous Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach
