Summary
We're looking for a passionate coffee shop and bakery manager to lead our team and keep our cozy gluten-free spot buzzing! You'll oversee daily operations--think scheduling staff, managing inventory, and ensuring our coffee's brewed to perfection. We need someone with experience in hospitality management, a knack for customer service, social media skills and capability to handle budgets and train baristas. You'll create a welcoming vibe, solve problems on the fly, and keep quality high. Expect to work 35-50 hours a week, including weekends, with a salary around 13 to 15 per hour, plus benefits. Responsibilities
Maintaining a great vibe and service ethic for customers and staff
Helping baristas create drinks to ensure each brew is wow. Ability to 'dial-in coffee'.
Hands-on and able to serve customers in a busy environment
Marketing to attract new customers and retain existing ones, including creating and posting engaging social media
Ability to delegate tasks as appropriate, we are always busy even if there is a lull in customer demand
Innovating new seasonal drinks and food and staying current with market trends
Preparation of foods as and when needed
Oversee Health and Safety including documentation, training of staff and systems for a clean and tidy environment
Schedule staff and run payroll monthly
Maintaining inventory and ordering
Financial Management including tracking sales, expenses, and profits, and preparing financial reports and overseeing baker productivity. Working closely with management to meet revenue objectives and implementing appropriate strategies to resolve adverse trends and improve sales
Recruiting and training staff
Any other task as directed by the owners
Requirements
Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or food service industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Experience in inventory management and financial oversight is preferred.
