Responsibilities

Supervise daily coffee shop operations, including food preparation, beverage service, and customer interactions Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure team members deliver outstanding service Oversee inventory control, including stock ordering, storage, and waste reduction to maximize profitability Handle cash transactions accurately using ensuring proper cash handling procedures Maintain food safety standards by adhering to health regulations and supervising food handling and sanitation practices Lead shift management by coordinating tasks efficiently to meet customer demand during busy hours Support kitchen management activities including food production, quality control, for both casual dining and specialty beverages

Requirements

Proven experience in food service management with a background in quick service or fast food restaurants Experience with cash handling is essential Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training, team management, and interviewing skills Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, and food safety protocols within a hospitality environment Excellent customer service skills with a passion for creating welcoming atmospheres in a cafe settings Ability to manage shift schedules effectively while maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness Previous experience in coffee or barista roles is highly desirable; hospitality or hotel experience is a plus
