We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Coffee Shop Manager to oversee our vibrant New Caffe Massarella coffee shop. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry. This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and fostering a positive team environment. The Coffee Shop Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of food safety and quality while driving sales and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Duties

Supervise daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of baristas and support staff to deliver exceptional customer service. Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock control to minimise waste. Train staff on coffee preparation techniques, equipment usage, and customer service best practices. Implement promotional strategies to enhance sales and attract new customers. Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction is achieved. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the coffee shop environment at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in a managerial role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. Strong background in team management, with proven ability to lead and inspire others. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is highly desirable. Experience in bartending or food production is an advantage but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both customers and staff. A passion for coffee culture and a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
