We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Coffee Shop Supervisor to lead our team in delivering exceptional service and high-quality products. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a background in food preparation and cafe operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily operations, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and foster a welcoming environment for customers. The Coffee Shop Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff, managing workflow, and maintaining the overall efficiency of the coffee shop.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily coffee shop operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of service Supervise and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer experiences Assist with preparation, including brewing coffee, making beverages, and light food handling Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the premises Manage stock levels, place orders, and ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies Train new staff members on operational procedures, health & safety standards, and customer service techniques Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue Lead by example in demonstrating professionalism, hospitality, and teamwork

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a cafe, restaurant or hospitality environment Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes Experience in team management and leadership within a fast-paced setting Familiarity with restaurant or hotel operations is desirable Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively Previous experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy

Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
