Job Summary
We are seeking a commercially focused and proactive Commercial and Marketing Manager to oversee client onboarding, contract execution, project financial planning, and market development. The role is central to ensuring seamless delivery after sales have been secured--particularly in contract drafting, pricing analysis, and coordination with operations.
In parallel, the successful candidate will take the lead in building the company's market presence among Chinese and international communities, with a focus on student segments. This includes exploring partnerships with universities, and growing new channels.

Key Responsibilities
Commercial Operations & Client Delivery
Manage post-sale processes, including contract preparation, negotiation, and execution
Liaise with the Business Development Manager to ensure smooth handover and operational delivery
Conduct financial assessments of each client project and advise on pricing adjustments
Track actual vs forecasted costs and support commercial performance reviews
Maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business
Market Expansion & Marketing Strategy
Lead market development in key regions, especially London and Southampton
Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with universities, student groups, and communities
Design and implement tailored campaigns for Chinese and international audiences
Coordinate social media efforts (e.g. TikTok), providing content direction and campaign ideas
Team Building & Leadership
Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of junior marketing staff (e.g. Marketing Executive)
Manage, mentor, and review marketing team members to ensure delivery on marketing objectives

Strong commercial acumen with experience in client contracts and project finance
Strategic mindset with ability to identify and develop new market segments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to build cross-cultural trust
Capable of working independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of revenue growth and supplier negotiations.
Strong leadership, project management, and good communication skills.
Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in accounting and financial principles.
Proficient in editing software (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint...)Extensive work experience with multicultural backgrounds.

Qualifications and Experience
Significant experience in commercial operations or client-facing business functions
Demonstrated ability to manage contracts, financial planning, and market engagement
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
Fluency in English; Chinese language skills highly desirable
Prior experience in student marketing or the travel/tourism sector is a plus
