Empire Linen Services in Tottenham Hale seeks a dedicated Engineer to join our team.

Overview

As a Commercial Laundry Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of industrial laundry equipment. You will play a vital role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, helping us deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Diagnose and repair faults in washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment

Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks

Install new machinery and assist with equipment upgrades

Respond promptly to breakdowns and minimise downtime

Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance

Work closely with the operations team to ensure equipment reliability

Requirements

Proven experience as a commercial or industrial laundry engineer, or in a similar engineering or maintenance role

Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems relevant to industrial laundry equipment

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure

Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach

Flexibility to work split shifts and respond to emergency call-outs when required

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to health and safety standards

Benefits

Salary:

46,125 per annum - Payment monthly in arrears 7th of each month.

Night Shift:

Sunday-Thursday

Holidays:

28 days paid holiday per annum

Enrolment in the NEST Pension Scheme
