About the Role

We are a busy and growing commercial laundry supplying hotels, care homes, restaurants, and local businesses. We're looking for a

reliable, hardworking Commercial Laundry Operative

to join our production team.

This is a

hands-on, physical role

in a fast-paced environment. You'll be part of a close-knit team where consistency, pride in your work, and attention to detail genuinely matter.

Key Responsibilities

Sorting, loading, and unloading industrial washing and drying machines Operating commercial ironers and folding equipment Folding, counting, and packing linen accurately to customer specifications Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the laundry floor Following health & safety and COSHH procedures at all times Working to production deadlines and quality standards Assisting with general laundry duties as required
What We're Looking For

A strong work ethic and a "get stuck in" attitude Reliability and punctuality are

essential

Ability to work on your feet for long periods and handle repetitive tasks Good attention to detail and basic numeracy (counting linen accurately) Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Previous laundry, factory, or production experience is an advantage however,

full training will be provided
