Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paints, varnishes, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Follow technical specifications and safety guidelines to achieve precise and durable finishes. Mix paints and colours accurately to match project requirements. Protect surrounding areas by covering floors, furniture, and fixtures during painting activities. Inspect completed work for quality assurance and touch up as necessary. Maintain tools and equipment in good condition; report any damages or repairs needed. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors regarding project progress.

Skills

Proven experience in construction painting or related fields is preferred. Valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting equipment or travelling between sites. Strong communication skills in English to understand instructions clearly and coordinate with colleagues. Excellent attention to detail to ensure a high standard of finish across all projects. Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within deadlines. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to painting activities is essential.
