We are recruiting a Commercial Support professional to join our UK Marine division at Hempel. The role can be based from our offices in Gda?sk, Poland, Cwmbran or Darwen in the UK, or remotely from the North East.
This is a hands on commercial role sitting at the centre of our Marine sales operation. You will work closely with our Key Account Managers, helping move opportunities forward, supporting customers and keeping the commercial engine running. You will gain exposure to sales strategy, commercial decision making and data driven insight, giving you a strong understanding of how our Marine business operates day to day.
You sit at the centre of the Marine sales operation
You will support the Marine sales team across the full commercial cycle, making sure opportunities are well managed, customers are supported and commercial activity is accurate and timely.

Key responsibilities include:Producing quotations and detailed specifications using CRM systems Managing price lists and commercial documentation in line with authority and compliance requirements Supporting customer product queries, from information gathering through to basic technical guidance Issuing, coordinating and controlling customer guarantees with a high level of accuracy Maintaining clean, reliable commercial data and producing reports and insights Providing timely information that supports commercial decisions and outcomes

This role is about pace, precision and commercial judgement
You enjoy working in a fast moving environment where priorities can change and accuracy matters. You balance attention to detail with the ability to respond quickly and keep things moving.
You will bring:Experience in a B2B customer service, sales support or commercial support role Excellent written and spoken English, with confidence dealing directly with customers Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel Experience working with CRM systems Confidence working with data, reporting and analytics A self motivated, target focused approach with strong organisational skills Practical, solutions focused thinking and sound commercial judgement
