We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at The Jockey Inn. The ideal candidate will possess skills in food preparation and cooking, with a passion for delivering high-quality dishes. Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Assist in food production, ensuring all items are prepared efficiently and to the highest quality Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations Manage food inventory levels, ensuring ingredients are stocked and properly stored Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service times Uphold health and safety standards at all times, including proper handling of food and equipment Support restaurant service by preparing ingredients for serving staff when required

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Excellent team management abilities, fostering a collaborative work atmosphere Proficiency in food production techniques Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff Previous restaurant experience required

Pay: Up to 24,420.00 per year
