Communications and Marketing Manager

Key areas of work/deliverables:

Lead proactive media outreach and build strong relationships to secure high impact coverage across key titles.

Research, write and edit engaging press releases, articles and media content that tell the organisation's story in a fresh and creative way.

Ensure consistent and compelling messaging across all channels, with a focus on updating content on the website and intranet.

Work with internal teams and partner organisations to produce impactful case studies that demonstrate the impact of the Trust's work.

Experience/Skills

Experience in media relations and PR:

A solid foundation in PR and media relations is essential.

Strong communication and writing skills:

Excellent writing and editing skills with experience of crafting compelling stories, press releases and materials that resonate with target audiences.

Digital media proficiency:

Familiarity with social media platforms, intranet platforms and websites.

Relationship building skills:

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to deliver effective communications campaigns.

Ability to multitask and work under pressure:

Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: 20.79 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week

Work Location: In person
