Located in Marylebone, OELS is seeking a Communications and Marketing Manager to join our growing team.
OELS welcomes approximately 1,300 students every year and offers programmes in Business Management, Engineering, Communications, and Political Science.
We have historically acted as a study abroad campus and are now additionally planning to register with the Office for Students and develop New Degree Awarding Powers (NDAPs).

The Role
Would you like to work in a young and dynamic educational environment? An opportunity has arisen to be part of the team of our London Campus. We are a looking for a Communication and Marketing Manager who will join the team. Our aim is to reinforce our brand recognition within the professional and academic sectors in the UK and internationally.
The role is full-time, though a part-time arrangement at 80% FTE could be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Manager:
Audit, analyse and recommendation for social media strategy
Organise and manage the digital eco-system of the school: social platforms, websites, newsletter, etc
Create and manage digital content (including videos, photos, articles)
Stay up to date with social trends, topics and events
Create innovative, appealing and impactful content
Report and analyse performance using social listening tools
Data analysis of the website (for example: google data studio)
Create a monthly report with KPI for the digital ecosystem
Communication:
Define a communication strategy in line with the HQ strategy
Create and design material for internal and external presentations
Manage the communication on campus (posters, screens, signage, etc)
Liaise with the communication managers of the other schools within the group
Build and maintain relationship with corporates, entities, universities, and partners including charities to increase student experience in London and favour job opportunities for students
Lead the organisation of the events (alumni event, open days, guest talks, community engagement events, workshops, etc)
In charge of photoshoot for students
Manage the studio on campus for staff and students
Marketing:
In charge of the marketing of short programmes and new degree programmes:
Analyse and benchmark with competitors
Create and design brochures
Reporting
The Communications and Marketing Manager reports to the Director of OELS.
Person Specification
Essential criteria:
Strong passion for design and creativity
IT literate (Adobe Suite, PPT, WordPress)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work in a team and independently
Commercially driven with a creative eye
Highly organised, proactive and reliable
Compliance: Proof of right to work and live in the UK.
Desirable criteria:
Degree in Communication
Experience of managing social media platforms for a brand, a company or an organisation
Experience in the education sector
B1 level of French
Salary & Benefits
Between 34K and 40K depending on qualifications and experience
Monthly transport allowance worth 1,680 per year
