Job Description

The Communications and Marketing Manager will lead the delivery of communications and marketing activity that enhances One Cares reputation as the voice of General Practice. This role focuses on strengthening member engagement, building brand awareness, and managing One Cares external profile across key channels and audiences. The Communications and Marketing Manager will work closely with the Communications and Engagement Director, translating strategic priorities into effective communications plans and high-quality content. They will lead the day-to-day delivery of communications activity, provide insight and evaluation to inform decision-making, and support reputation management and stakeholder engagement.



This role will deputise for the Communications and Engagement Director and acts as a key operational partner, helping to ensure consistency, innovation, and impact across all communications and engagement channels. Working collaboratively across the organisation and with system partners, the postholder will ensure the One Care brand is consistently applied and communicated effectively. They will oversee core channels including the website, social media, newsletters, and news releases, and manage the Digital Communications Officer to ensure content is integrated, audience-focused, and aligned with organisational priorities
