Why is the role important?



The Communications Co-Ordinator role involves supporting communication, public affairs, and stakeholder engagement activities with a focus on administration and updating information about the organisation's services. This role is important to ensure excellent customer service that meets the communication requirements of Bolton at Home's stakeholders.

What's involved?


Be a first point of contact for stakeholder enquiries and communication requirements, ensuring high quality customer service. Support the development and delivery of communication activities and campaigns, including corporate documents. Update communication channels, including Bolton at Home's website, social media, and internal news platforms, with relevant and timely information. Provide support through the life cycle of communication projects, organising and facilitating events as required. Support the building and maintaining of relationships with stakeholders, such as colleagues and partners, through various communication and engagement methods. Support the development and improvement of systems and processes to efficiently deliver communication projects and activities. Provide guidance and assistance to stakeholders through the provision of an internal service desk that assesses and responds to the communication requirements, offering solutions and coordinating with other team members and external agencies as needed.
