We're seeking a Communications & Digital Content Lead to drive external communications with an emphasis on digital - managing the school's website and social media content. You'll craft compelling stories that reflect our distinctive ethos, which balances the needs of the individual with the community - work of each for weal of all. If you're skilled in digital communications, content creation and brand promotion, help us shape Bedales' voice and enhance the school's online presence.

Experience & Background



Using persuasive storytelling and copywriting skills with a keen eye for detail, you will enjoy creating engaging communications content for a variety of audiences. You will have experience of website content management systems, social media, and designing and editing content for digital platforms.


With an ability to work effectively under pressure, you will be well organised, flexible and able to prioritise. Success will depend on the ability to form positive and collaborative relationships with colleagues.

Duties



You will be responsible for:

Coordinating content across the Whole School, uploading content to the website content management system (Storyblok), ensuring key sections are up to date Liaising closely with the Admissions Marketing Executive to ensure the admissions pages on the website and social media channels have dynamic admissions-related content, including maintaining/updating the digital prospectus Monitoring and evaluating the overall performance of the website, optimising its structure and content to enhance traffic, visibility and SEO Keeping abreast of web developments and advising on how these could enhance Bedales' online profile Managing the content of the school's main social media sites, i.e. Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Threads, proactively seeking content from across the Whole School

Hours of Work



This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week throughout the year, occasionally working flexibly with some evening and weekend work required, for which time off in lieu will be offered.

Salary



34,389 per annum based on the above hours and weeks of work.
