While this role sits within the Sales, Marketing and Communications Function, this isn't a general marketing job. The role is prominently internal communications but you will have the opportunity to get involved in external communications including parent comms, local media relations and local community / stakeholder relations. This role is for a comms expert with a focus on a range of comms - so we are looking for someone who knows what to say, when to say it, and how to get it heard by the relevant audience.


As our Communications Manager, you'll support how we communicate with potential and existing parents/carers, as well as future and internal colleagues. You'll manage reputation, boost our visibility, and be a great storyteller to make sure our messages land with heart and purpose.

What You'll Be Doing



Writing / revising content for internal communications Collaborating with a variety of teams across LEYF - from nurseries to the People Team - bringing clarity and kindness to every message Support a variety of local and wider company events, from brainstorming ideas to promotional materials, from social media engagement to photography. Advise on and prepare parent communications on a variety of topics Internal Comms planning and delivery, working closely with colleagues across the People Team, nurseries and operations to communicate key messages and ensure teams feel engaged and supported Managing the Social Media calendar and amplifying LEYF activities through social media Working in partnership with our marketing leads to connect local campaigns across multiple channels Support the team with crisis and issues management to ensure a calm and confident response Track, measure and analyse our communication tactics and impact, sharing the successes, misses and pivots with relevant stakeholders
