We are looking for a Communications Manager to join our team. The role is part time for a fixed term of 18 months, working 18.5 hours per week. We are flexible in regards to hours / days worked but there would be a requirement to spend at least one day a week working from the Barracks.
This role has been part funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund

This is a great opportunity for a skilled communications professional to coordinate communications across the Living Barracks project in Berwick upon Tweed, using your skills to keep local people and other stakeholders up to date about the project and raising the profile of the Barracks. The project is delivered in partnership with The Maltings Trust, Kings Own Scottish Borderers, and Northumberland County Council.
As Communications Manager you will coordinate the external and internal communications for the Living Barracks Project at Berwick Barracks. You will work with a range of partners to keep local people, stakeholders and funders up to date with this exciting project and ensure consistent messaging across various platforms.
To be considered as a Communications Manager - The Living barracks, you'll need:
Experience of delivering proactive and effective PR plans, including tactical and local campaigns, managing press visits and media relations to capitalise on project milestones and opportunities.
Experience of stakeholder management
Experience of devising and implementing multi channel communications plans, including on and offline channels, such as social media
