We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced employment services delivery manager to join the team to contribute to the development of our employment service.

In this role you will:

  • Manage the activities of Newground CIC\'s Commercial Employment & Skills activities in East Lancs, ensuring that appropriate performance standards, budgets and funding targets are met.
  • Develop & secure commercial employment & skills contracts across Newground\'s delivery areas.
  • To actively keep abreast of trends & developments in the employability sector
  • To support the development of employment & skills provision across the organisation, embedding best industry practice and positioning Newground Together as a leading provider of employment support.
  • To develop and maintain external relationships with local authorities, partner agencies and employability sector organisations who influence the employment sector in the communities in which we work, particularly DWP, JCP, prime contractors and local employment & skills boards.
Your current experience, skills and knowledge should consist of:
  • Strong experience, knowledge and successful track record in the employability sector
  • Leading high performing teams in a demanding environment.
  • Business development and continuous improvement
  • An entrepreneurial approach and ability to spot/secure opportunities to enhance the business/offer
  • Sound financial acumen and commercial judgement
A full driving licence is required with access to a car, as travel across the group is an essential part of the role.
