Compliance and Systems Officer required for care home for adults with learning disabilities.
Location CO2 0NU
Full-time role: 39 hours per week Monday- Friday
Role Duties:
Responsible for ensuring the policies, procedures, guidelines, systems and processes of the organisation meet and continue to meet the applicable statutory, regulatory, and compliance requirements. Support the Senior Leadership Team in administering the statutory, regulatory, and compliance requirements, including compiling responses to regulators and inspection preparation. Responsible for the compliance audit plan and ensuring that compliance audits are conducted in accordance with required timelines. To keep abreast of the latest developments regarding CQC, PAMMS, Skills for Care, Data Protection (GDPR) /ICO, Home Office, ISO and any other relevant regulators Ensure the team is kept up to date with any changes to legislation and provide guidance.
Qualification/Experience for Role:
Proven experience as a Compliance Officer, or equivalent role, within a care home setting- minimum 2 years. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with clients, staff, and regulatory bodies. Strong understanding of CQC regulations and requirements. Advanced IT skills in Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, forms, and online meetings etc. HR and systems experience desirable.
