We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Shotcrete operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to work collaboratively on various construction sites. This role involves physical labour, operating machinery, and ensuring that concrete is mixed, poured, and sprayed to the highest standards.
Duties
Assist in the preparation of job sites by clearing debris and setting up forms for concrete spraying. Mix, pour, and spray concrete according to specifications. Operate excavators and other machinery safely and efficiently. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Collaborate with other construction workers to complete projects on time. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Perform general labour tasks as required by site supervisors.
Skills
Proficiency in operating excavators is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment effectively. Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions accurately. Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
