Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of construction projects. You will play a key role in managing documentation, coordinating schedules, and facilitating communication between various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and proficiency in relevant software applications.

Responsibilities



Manage and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and invoices. Assist in data entry tasks to keep project records up to date and accurate. Coordinate schedules and meetings with contractors, suppliers, and team members. Utilise QuickBooks for financial tracking and reporting related to construction projects. Provide clerical support by preparing reports, memos, and correspondence as needed. Maintain an organised office environment to enhance efficiency. Handle phone communications with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette. Support the team with administrative tasks using Google Suite and other office software.

Experience



Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the construction industry. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft is highly desirable. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail. Familiarity with clerical duties and office procedures. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new systems.
