We re hiring Construction Administrator wanted. Due to an exciting increase in workload and strong pipeline of upcoming projects, ONYX Design & Build is on the lookout a construction administrator to join our growing team
We specialise in fast paced, high- quality hospitality and F&B projects across the UK - and we are looking for someone to support our site teams

Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the construction team
Office based Preston 8am - 5pm
Managing orders for site materials, PPE etc
Assist with project documentation, including H&S files, Permits for works and deliveries.
Organising files, drawings and issuing to the site teams
Coordinate meetings and appointments for the construction team
Handle phone calls and emails, ensuring professional and timely communication
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
Organize project files and file once projects are completed
Ordering PPE and other office consumables for site
Collecting and filling Sub Contractor Rams and insurances
Generally assisting the management team when needed.
Be part of a dynamic and growing construction team
Skills:
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry
- Familiarity with computerized systems for administrative tasks
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong office and clerical skills, including filing, scanning, and copying documents
- Professional phone etiquette and communication skills
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Construction Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction office by supporting the administrative needs of the construction team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
