Based in Cirencester, we have over 50 years' experience in the agricultural, construction, amenity and land management sector. Tugwell Contracting are specialists within the renewable energy sector and work on over 300 solar farms across the UK.

We are looking for a hard working and reliable person to undertake a variety of work. Experience would be an advantage however attitude, enthausiasm and willingness to learn is more important.

Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential within the construction management team through providing on site assistance, coordinating works, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining accurate records including quality documents. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a solid understanding of office procedures, contributing to the smooth functioning of our construction projects.

Person required to join the team at a national construction and maintenance company based near Cirencester. The role would be mainly office based, but site visits, sometimes requiring an overnight stay are a possibility. Ideally the candidate will have IOSH and/or NEBOSH qualifications and previous experience of RAMS, ITP's, ordering materials and deliveries. The role may evolve depending on the candidate.

Duties



Manage and organise project documentation Assist in maintaining accurate project records and databases. Coordinate communication between project managers, contractors, and clients, ensuring all parties are informed of project updates. Answer phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Prepare reports and presentations as required to assist in project management meetings.

Skills



Strong administrative skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively. Competent in data entry with a high level of accuracy. Familiarity with office procedures and clerical work practices. Strong IT skills with the ability to produce documents efficiently. Demonstrated phone etiquette for effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
