The Opportunity:

This key role will oversee the financial performance of development projects from budgeting and forecasting to reporting and analysis. You will work closely with project teams, senior stakeholders, and external partners to ensure robust financial controls and accurate reporting across all phases of development.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the preparation and management of project budgets and forecasts. Monitor project costs vs. budget, manage variances, and advise on corrective actions. Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and cash flow forecasts. Prepare annual accounts and liaise with external accountants. Work closely with project and commercial teams to ensure financial accuracy. Support funding requirements and provide strategic financial insight. Supervise finance staff involved in development accounting and reporting. Liaise with auditors and ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. Collaborate with construction, legal, and asset management teams for seamless financial oversight.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. ACCA/CIMA qualification preferred but not essential. 3-5 years' experience in a finance leadership or managerial role. Proficient in Xero and advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling. Strong understanding of financial controls, accounting standards, and project cash flow. Confident communicator with the ability to engage senior stakeholders. Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to lead a small finance team effectively.

Pay: 60,000.00-70,000.00 per year
