Job Purpose:

To lead and manage daily operations across assigned construction sites, ensuring all works are executed safely, on schedule, and to required specifications and standards. A background in carpentry and familiarity with fire door installation, along with BM TRADA certification, is highly desirable to meet specific project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all on-site activities and ensure works progress in line with the construction programme Enforce Health & Safety regulations, ensuring site compliance with CDM 2015 and relevant HSE standards Supervise subcontractors, trades, and direct labour with a focus on carpentry and fire door works Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and maintain daily site diaries Ensure all fire door installations comply with BM TRADA or equivalent certification standards Liaise with project managers, clients, suppliers, and building control as required Manage site materials, deliveries, and inventory Oversee snagging, quality checks, and final handovers

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong leadership with a proactive and hands-on management style Excellent coordination and time management Clear understanding of construction processes, particularly carpentry and fire-rated works Ability to interpret drawings and specifications Competence in reporting software and Microsoft Office tools

3+ years' experience in site management within the UK construction sector Working knowledge of building regulations and quality assurance processes Full UK driving licence
