Job description
Plantscape is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team in the landscaping, arboriculture, or construction sectors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management, project delivery, and compliance, with the ability to manage tender processes, liaise with clients, and oversee site operations to ensure high standards and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage contracts from Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ) through to tender submission and Applications for Payment.
Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001 standards and support the achievement and maintenance of other relevant industry accreditations.
Oversee and understand site operations, including the preparation and review of Method Statements and adherence to Health & Safety regulations.
Lead or support the preparation and submission of competitive tenders and bids.
Provide effective project management across multiple sites, ensuring delivery to time, quality, and budget.
Maintain strong financial awareness and contribute to budget management and cost control.
Serve as a key point of contact for clients through site visits, virtual meetings (e.g., Microsoft Teams), and written correspondence.
Attend contract site meetings and deputise for the Managing Director as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
Previous experience in landscaping, arboriculture, or construction industries.
Strong understanding of contracts and procurement processes.
Proven experience in compliance and quality assurance standards, particularly ISO 9001.
Demonstrated project management capability.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in client engagement.
Financially literate with the ability to manage and report on project costs.
