City Splash is the UK's leading reggae, dancehall and afrobeats festival, celebrating the very best in Caribbean and African culture through music, food, fashion and art. We are expanding our creative team and are looking for brilliant, energetic and engaged content creators to help us grow our online community and tell the story of City Splash year-round.
Are you a driven, self-motivated person with a creative flair and a talent for social media content creation? Do you have a passion for live music, festivals and Caribbean culture? Have you got previous experience in creating content within events or music?
In this role, you'll support in building the City Splash brand identity, create unique, engaging content and make strategic additions to the social media marketing calendar.

As a pillar lead, you'll join us
one day per week
to create unique, authentic and trend-driven content for social media. This role is ideal for natural storytellers who already enjoy making content, whether through TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or other platforms. You should be confident either in front of the camera (face-to-cam) or behind it (editing, narrating, and producing engaging videos).
ROLE OBJECTIVES
Own your pillar: Take responsibility for developing a creative content strategy within your area of focus.
Create content: Plan, film, edit and deliver social media-ready videos that resonate with our community.
Spot trends: Keep your finger on the pulse of online culture and apply trending formats to City Splash's identity.
Collaborate: Work with the City Splash marketing team to align your output with wider campaigns.
Grow engagement: Develop new ways to bring the City Splash experience to life digitally, building excitement in the run-up to the festival.
KEY CHARACTERISTICS
Passionate about Caribbean music and culture with a love of live events and festivals.
Creative, confident and proactive in coming up with fresh ideas.
Skilled in video editing (CapCut, InShot, Adobe Suite, Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar).
Comfortable filming face-to-camera content, voiceovers or narrating stories.
Organised, self-motivated and able to deliver consistently to deadlines.
Strong portfolio demonstrating content creation
Supportive, team player
A passion for live events
Bonus:
Graphic design or animation skills.
Ideally you already have your own growing social presence, or you're keen to develop one.
