Content Creator And Channel Manager

London, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

About the Role

Do you live and breathe social media? Are you obsessed with what's next, and know how to turn culture, music and creativity into content that performs?

We're looking for a creative, proactive and digitally-savvy Social Media Manager (Content Creator & Channel Manager) to take ownership of our day-to-day social presence across ACM and Metropolis Studios. You'll help shape and grow our online voice, build community, and deliver content that strengthens brand reputation while driving measurable results.

You'll work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and wider marketing team to plan and produce high-performing social content, with a particular focus on Instagram and TikTok, and working knowledge of Facebook, X and YouTube.

This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, organised, and confident creating content at speed -- with strong writing skills, sharp attention to detail, and a clear understanding of how to use tools (including AI) to work smarter and raise the quality bar.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Planning & Channel Management

? Own daily management of ACM and Metropolis Studios social channels (publishing, community, tone, consistency).

? Plan, create and publish content aligned to campaign priorities, key moments, and audience needs.

? Maintain and evolve the social content calendar in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager.

? Coordinate and support shoots (photo/video), content capture, scheduling, and delivery with designers and stakeholders.

? Ensure content is platform-native, on-brand, and optimised for reach, retention and engagement.

Community Growth & Brand Voice

? Build and maintain strong community engagement, responding with a clear and consistent brand tone.

? Identify and support opportunities for UGC, creator partnerships, student/community features, and organic growth moments.

? Collaborate with internal teams to spot stories and translate them into compelling social formats.

Reporting & Performance Optimisation

? Track and report on key performance metrics including reach, engagement, follower growth, saves/shares, web traffic, and conversions.

? Use insights to test and improve content performance (hooks, pacing, formats, posting patterns).

? Stay up to date with competitor activity, trends, and platform changes, sharing actionable learnings with the team.

AI-Enabled Content Workflow (Essential)

? Use AI tools confidently to accelerate ideation, scripting, caption drafting, content repurposing and optimisation, while maintaining a human and authentic voice.

? Apply good judgement around accuracy, tone, inclusivity, and brand safety when using AI-generated outputs.

? Understand how to prompt effectively and refine AI output to match brand voice and audience.

General Marketing Support

? Support wider marketing activity where needed (campaigns, launches, events, cross-platform content).

? Participate in team meetings and collaborate across departments to deliver creative, consistent marketing output.

What We're Looking For:

Essential

? Proven hands-on experience managing social channels, particularly Instagram and TikTok.

? Strong writing skills and excellent attention to detail (captioning, storytelling, editing).

? Strong understanding of platform best practices and what performs (hooks, trends, formats, analytics).

? Confident using Canva / Adobe / Figma to create or adapt content.
? Experience using scheduling tools such as Sprout Social (or similar).
? Highly organised: able to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders at pace.

? Comfortable using AI tools as part of your workflow (e.g., ChatGPT, Adobe AI, CapCut AI or similar) and able to demonstrate how you use them in practice.

? A proactive, self-starter mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Nice to Have

? Passion for music, games, youth culture and/or education.

? Strong short-form video editing skills (CapCut/Premiere/Final Cut).

? Experience supporting integrated campaigns (paid + organic + email + events).

? Understanding of audience segmentation and how to tailor messaging by platform.

? Experience working with creators, talent, or community contributors.

? Basic experience with GA4, UTM tracking, and social conversion measurement.
