We are looking for a proactive and creative Content Marketer to join the SDS team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a flair for content creation and design, who is keen to develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Suitable for a graduate or someone looking to take the next step in a Content Marketing role.
As part of a busy and supportive team, you will be responsible for producing a variety of marketing and sales enablement content using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator. You will also play a key role in developing branded templates in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, as well as producing short-form videos using Canva or similar tools.
As a guide, we are looking for the following criteria:
A degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Media or a related field.
Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator.
Experience using Canva or equivalent video editing software.
Strong copywriting and proofreading skills.
Good understanding of layout, typography, and visual storytelling.
Confident user of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, with an eye for design and formatting.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
A self-starter attitude, able to work independently and within a team.
Willingness to get involved in varied tasks, including team-led events and social value activities.
Enthusiasm for learning and personal development in content creation and design.
Experience in supporting or coordinating events.
Charitable work experience
An ability and willingness to travel to offices across the Southwest
The role includes:
Design and produce engaging marketing and sales enablement materials (e.g. brochures, case studies, infographics, pitch decks).
Create and maintain branded templates in Word and PowerPoint for internal and external use.
Develop and edit short video content for promotional and educational purposes.
Collaborate with team members to support wider marketing activities, including events and social value projects.
Write clear, compelling copy for digital and print content.
Ensure all materials align with brand guidelines and tone of voice.
Take ownership of tasks and deliver to deadlines with minimal supervision.
Contribute to the continual improvement of content quality, visual impact, and user engagement.
Support the submission of award nominations for the business
Support the submission of bids for the business
Update website, social media channels, branding, design, content creation, and sharing
Good client and stakeholder focus, being responsive to and pre-empting their needs
Perform any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, within the scope of the role and in line with company needs and objectives
