PM Group requires an automation & controls engineering consultant to support a biopharmaceutical project in Northumberland.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Implementing new automation systems and controls- Managing and documenting controlled changes to IT systems
- Specification, implementation, and qualification of new HMIs on tablet press equipment
- Requirement analysis and process rationalisation
- User requirement specifications
- Creating design specifications
- Creating functional specifications
- Data protection, security and compliance
- Documentation creation and approval
- Data management tasks, e.g. importing records, sample checking, etc
- Designing, generating and executing test plans and test protocols
- Project delivery reporting
- Working within a client-led team to deliver a key client project
- Stakeholder management
Qualifications
Qualifications
Candidates must have proven experience of automation delivery on biopharma projects in the pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge of industry standards and systems is essential, alongside a good understanding of GMP requirements for automated systems. The role requires delivery of results on time, in accordance with client standards and health and safety procedures. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, able to manage their own workload independently, but also able to work well with other engineers and engineering disciplines.
