COOK/CHEF REQUIRED!!!
We are seeking a talented Chef/Cook to join our team at MJ's. As part of our awesome kitchen team you will be responsible for overseeing the food preparation and production in our kitchen. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for culinary arts, and a commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently & as part of a team, have excellent customer service and training in food hygiene and paperwork essential ( Can be done when employed). Rate of pay is to be determined, depending on experience and will be discussed at the interview.

Must be available weekends and weekdays but will have your evenings to yourself as we are only open during the day!!

Responsibilities:
- Plan food preparation and cooking activities for the kitchen
- Supervise and train kitchen staff
- Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with food safety standards
- Create and develop new menu items seasonally putting your flare on there!
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for improving kitchen efficiency

Skills:
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and production
- Excellent supervisory and leadership abilities
- Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations and procedures
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 42 per week
